Being a practitioner in the Inland Northwest of the U.S., I know only too well the devastating life-changing challenges victims and families of those afflicted with multiple sclerosis (MS) must endure. You see my friends, the approved drug, Ampyra, is a form of fampridine...a commonly used bird poison...that's right, bird poison. It induces seizure-like symptoms in birds, enough to scare them away from crops...thus avoiding financial seizures to farmers from losses to their bottom line. That said, Ampyra is reported to actually CAUSE seizures in humans as well...dah!
Other side-effects of this drug, to date anyway, include:
- Replase of MS symptoms
- Insomnia
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Muscle weakness
- Difficulty with balance
- Back pain
- Burning, tingling or itching of skin
Don't the above symptoms sound like EXACTLY what MS patients already experience? Why in the world would a drug with those known side-effects be approved? The approval decision of this drug is beyond my comprehension...and I uncover massive amounts of unconscionable decisions in my medical research and reporting...this one gets the prize for the most inhuman in my book!
If you've been diagnosed with MS, or know someone who has, share this information! The clinical trials were done on only 540 patients...image the damaging results if the trials had been on 54,000!
