I know, I know it isn't humorous when you're the one experiencing the symptoms. However, if we don't find some humor in our challenges then we simply continue to add to our overall body burden with toxic thoughts and emotions.

With chronic illnesses and aging comes the reality that our brain chemistry easily becomes un-balanced if it isn't provided proper nutrition; especially minerals and electrolytes...the body's electrical transmitters.

When we're healthy and younger, our bodies are better able to tolerate abuse, including, but not limited to, consumption of processed and over-cooked foods (depleted of enzymes and nutrients), excessive stress (mental and phyical), and consumption of alcohol and soft drink (scientifically found to actually deplete mineral reserves), as well as environmental factors that slowly manifests the symptomatic progression of "dis-ease."

During times of illness and disorders, as well as a result of the aging processes, it is vital our brains maintain a constant storehuse of neurotransmitters and the raw materials (minerals) that keep them in synchronicity (balanced), for optimum function to keep all our biological messages communicating. When those nutrients are supplied in an easy to take effervescent powder, the body is better able to utilized them (1).

Keeping the Messengers Healthy

Neurotransmitters are chemicals that occur naturally in the brain; allowing transmission of messages from one nerve cell to another. They are chemical signals used by neurons to communicate with one another; responsible for making the brain work and also determining how you think, act, and feel.

Dis-eases of Aging?

After age 50, and during chronic illnesses, startling new conditions emerge; the most prevalent being depression, mood swings, muscle weakness and cramping, brain-fog, soft and connective tissue pain, unexplained fatigue, and sleep disorders Many conventional drug approaches used for these exact conditions can themselves create chemical imbalances and subsequent depletion of essential minerals...adding to the very problems they were meant to resolve.

Balancing the Energy Currency

Minerals, in order to be effective, must work in synchronicity (balance) with one another. An example of this includes:

• Calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and iron
• Copper, iron and zinc
• Sodium and potassium

When experiencing chronic illnesses, and for those os us baby-boomers, it's important to remember that we are not our parents' or granparents' generation; being 60 years of age now is considered the youth of old age.
